Arminius Revolver Manual Of Arms4/17/2021
An RG revolver was used and IIRC, they were the improters at the time. The Arminius.38 spl.Titan Tiger revolver and a few other names like P.O.S.Guns actually worked very well.
Made in Germany, they were sold by several imporers F.I.E.or EXCAM. Now the nearest thing is sold by EAA (European American Arms) as the Windicator. Guy came by my table at tthe show that I know well and wanted a.samll auto I had, but did not have enough. Ha said his dad had given it to him, but he needed an auto that was slimmer and not as HEAVY as this beast. But he always swaps stuff with me so I gave him a bill off the other gun for it. Small plastic grip. Gun put first 2 rounds low at P.O.A. I held on the blackfor the last 4. So I will have to dig through my stuff and find a few other brads and types to try in it this week. Found 2 youtube reviews before the trade, as I had never seen this gun before, which convinced me. After I cleaned the grit out of the fire control, this thing smoothed up and is quite accurate. It would now take 300 to rip it out of my hand. Got it from a local that said he had problems with it locking up. All that was wrong with it was that the firing pin retainer had unscrewed a bit and the transfer bar was hitting it on the way up. Screwed the thing in with some Locktite and the gun worked just fine. It was extremely accurate and had an extra.22 mag cylinder with it. You had to remove the crane screw and the whole crane and cylinder assembly would interchange. I had a good number of the.38 spl. I had no problems with them other than the finish coming off the alloy receivers. I had only one that had a problem. It was a.357 magnum with a 6 barrel. Suppose to be a target model with the adjustable sights and thumb rest grips. Gun worked fine with.38 spls. I was kinda not wanting to shootin it with.357s, but I did. Barrel developed a small crack, lengthwise at the forcing cone. ![]() There were alot of these back then as well as the RGs. Also that the Buffalo Scoout and E-15 Single action.22s coming from Germany or Tanfoglios from Italy. Most weere F.I.E. EXcam imports. The auto pistols and revolvers sold by these 2 importers had different names, but were much the same guns. The guns look a little more modernized now and are imported by E.A.A. There were alot of these guns floating around the gunshows back in the 80s.
